Private Residence Investigation - Oct 2009 - New
Sharlston, West Yorkshire Team members present - Our initial meeting with the client was to discuss the type of investigation required. It proved to be very interesting as there had allegedly been long standing paranormal activity in the property. The activity had presented itself in varying manifestations . Noises; shadows; apparition; object displacement and even physical contact. We were looking forward to this investigation and the client was keen for us to experience some of the activity for ourselves and hopefully catch some kind of evidence! Our clients only concerns were that we may ‘awaken’ activity by doing the investigation. We reassured our client of the fact we don’t do séances; Ouija boards or use Psychics or Mediums that may encourage or invite spirits in. During the days leading up to our investigations it appeared the activity had quietened but this was apparently not unusual so we were still hopeful of an eventful evening. Once our equipment was set we did a sweep of the house for base information…..temperatures etc and we were ready to start . We had locked off cameras in four rooms of the house and placed a trigger object in one of the bedrooms. We decided to investigate one room at a time using 2 - 3 investigators. At base we had our Tech man monitoring the investigation. Our client remained with us throughout the investigation either at base or with the investigators during vigils. Throughout the night one of our investigators was personally affected with varying degrees of temperature and tingling sensations. We had intelligent responses to our questions using the K2 meter (Electromagnetic field meter) and we caught a strange light anomaly on the staircase. Although we used digital recorders we had no audible evidence. Our trigger object didn’t move significantly enough to say it was paranormal. While we don’t as a rule take orbs too seriously as they could be dust particles we were however intrigued with these , particularly the large one that covers her cheek. The photograph was taken because our investigator was experiencing some physical effects while standing in that particular spot, apprehension and increased heart beat so when these ‘orbs’ appeared we decided to include them in our findings……coincidence? You decide. This still was taken from the locked off camera at the base of the staircase. It was a momentary flash of light which we are unable to explain. Unfortunately the quality is not brilliant but you can get an idea of the flash. It was very bright at the time. All in all we had a good investigation. We had personal experiences and a very interesting time with the K2 meter. We felt very comfortable and not threatened in the property and have been invited back for a further investigation when renovations to the property have taken place. We didn’t capture enough evidence to offer our opinion as to whether we think there is paranormal activity or not but who knows?…………..our next visit may produce a lot more! Looking forward to the next time and would like to say thank you to our client for allowing us to investigate. |
